Grey Granite for a Civic Streetscape
The exterior plaza and covered colonnade are paved in large-format grey granite chosen for its subtle, cloud-like movement and exceptional durability. A honed surface keeps the public realm refined and contemporary, while a flamed, anti-slip finish was used where pedestrian safety and weather exposure demand extra grip — a combination ideal for a high-traffic downtown address.

A plaza of this scale leaves no room for guesswork. Working from detailed paver layout drawings — complete with match lines, expansion joints at walls, columns and planters, and coordination around the existing parking ramp and intake vents — our team calibrated every tile to tight tolerances so joints align cleanly across long colonnade runs and around the building’s columns.
Full Dry-Lay Before Shipment
Before any stone left our 8,000 m² facility, the granite was dry-laid and photographed in production to verify dimensions, colour consistency and pattern continuity against the architect’s drawings. This pre-installation process numbers each piece for its exact location, eliminating surprises on site and keeping a busy urban installation on schedule.
